Aaaaand....we are LIVE!
The Local Economy Revolution Has Arrived now available in print and digital formats
Hi!
It took a little longer than expected, but my new book, The Local Economy Revolution
Has Arrived: What's Changed and How You Can Help has finally hit the digital streets! Phew!
You can read the description here.
And here’s your options to get your hands on it:
E-Reader (PDF or EPUB) or Print
Gumroad is an awesome platform for independent creators. You can buy the book in three formats there:
Print: this will come from print on demand house Lulu.com, but I can give you the discount (Surprise!) here and not on Lulu’s site. Go figure. Print on demand will take about 10 days to fulfill, but you’ll get a PDF version with this purchase if you want to start early.
EPUB: this is the format that most non-Kindle e-readers use, like IPad. You can also convert this to Kindle’s format, but it takes a little work. More on Kindle’s evilness below.
PDF: good ol’ PDF can not only be printed, but it can be read on everything, including Kindle. And there’s a way that you can convert a regular PDF to something that has most of the Kindle stuff, but it involves knowing what your Kindle email address it (it’s in your settings).
Buy on Gumroad, and use the code “insider” at checkout to knock 50% off the price!
Kindle/Amazon
If you want the book in Kindle’s MOBI format and loaded straight into your Kindle readers with no fuss or muss, you can get it on Kindle right here.
But the only way I can give you a special discount through Amazon is to sign up for a deal where I lose most of my control over how the book is sold. Ugh.
SO…. if you get it on Kindle, send me an email with a screen shot and I’ll send you something good. Consider it kind of a mystery benny. Could be another book, could be a coffee shop gift card, could be a charitable donation in your name to something cool. Whatever it is, it will be worth about half of the book’s cost. And if you’ve got something in mind, let me know!
Also, don't forget that the first five purchasers get a bundle of other books and Short Shots! If you're that quick on your feet (well, fingers), I'll contact you to figure out how you want them delivered.
Thanks again for your support. There's not many people writing and talking about building stronger local economies and communities, but I can't think of anything more important -- or anything I'd rather be doing. You are making that possible. I really appreciate it.
Go get 'em!
