Don't Miss This Chance to be part of the future of affordable, disaster-resistant, modular building

Hi.

I wanted to briefly break through your scrolling to encourage you to be part of something that I actually think can finally solve the affordable housing and other building challenges we face.

But this future might not happen unless it gets some help. And you can give it that chance.

Design To Build is a startup company that is ready to revolutionize how we build. By fabricating buildings off-site, in a factory, en masse, they can lower the cost of a new structure by 25% or more, while making it easy for you to add on or change the appearance to match any neighborhood. You also get top-flight construction with no risk of builder onsite jerry-rigging or shortcuts!

And since the modules are built from intermodal shipping containers, they are more weather-resistant, wind-resistant, and decay-resistant than any stick-built structure. Can you find a modern building that’s designed to last 200 years? If you do, it’s built from shipping containers.

Design to Build structures meet the highest building code standards and can be adapted to any zoning requirements.

Sounds great, right? But as you may have guessed, banks won’t loan to a company this new, this unusual. Add to that a majority Black leadership team and a cooperative business structure designed to share the wealth across the community, and simply getting the funds in place to pay the rent on the fabrication can feel like an impossible task.

But here are some ways you can help make this transformative business happen:

  1. Participate in the Design to Build crowdfund, supported by Wunderfund. Invest as little as $100, and you can get an annual share of revenues up to 125% of your investment.

  2. If you prefer a charitable donation, the Good Hood Foundation is accepting donations of any size. The Good Hood Foundation is a 501(c)3 partner whose mission is to support Black-led entrepreneurship and community development initiatives. All donations to the Good Hood Foundation are fully tax deductible

  3. If you’re ready to put down a deposit on a cargotecture home, commercial building or other structure, respond to this email and I will connect you.

  4. If you can’t do any of these things, share this message with your network and help us get the word out.

Check out the video and the prospect deck - featuring just a few of the beautiful and super-functional designs available, from tiny houses to commercial buildings!
