I have a new podcast going up this week- an interview that I did with the economic development director of Springfield, Ohio, in what they now call the Time Before The Firestorm. It’s in two parts, because it was too good of a conversation to stop. Even before the incredible arrival of 12,000 to 15,000 new citizens, Springfield had developed a long history of fighting its way back from the brink. I think this story will show you the resilience and determination of Rust Belt cities in a whole new light.
