I usually stick to local stories here, but I thought this super-bird’s eye view was one we should be all aware of. The World Economic Forum’s annual risk assessment report focuses on five key worldwide risk factors. In addition to citing the impact of COVID-19 and the increasing risk of additional animal-to-human infectious disease mutation, it notes the risks of increasing incidences of extreme weather and digital inequality.
